November Gratitude Challenge 2013

Today my body told me I needed to sleep, and, thankfully, no one called me on the phone to keep that from happening or to interrupt my slumber.  The cats didn't bother me, either.  All things worked together for good. Tonight at a poetry reading in Hollywood, I saw an acquaintance I had not seen for a very long time. He had come up there from North Miami by city buses, so I was glad to be able to give him a ride back home.  Arriving home, I found a late paper e-mailed to me by one of my students, so I launched into that.  I am thankful for that extra sleep that set me up in good form for a very busy evening.
