Eighteen years later and I'm still in awe of her. When I first held her in my arms, I thanked God for the blessing of being a father; today I continue to feel the deepest of gratitude for being able to celebrate with my daughter on her birthday, for having the privilege of sharing this Earth-time together, for knowing that my life continues to take on a greater depth because of her presence, love, and friendship.
