Tired and feeling I was carrying displaced energy, I got home today and headed for the yoga mat. Three quarters into the practice, I did a series of pigeon poses. I held these for a couple of minutes; as I bowed into the mat, I felt the wonder of my body as I stretched and released so much of the tension of a day of good work. I'm grateful today for my body, for yoga, and for the teachers who take the time to share their knowledge with others.
