I have so much to be thankful for today. I spent most of the day at Miami Dade College's Environmental Center, participated in this incredible dance party at the Community Habilitation Center with one of my classes, came home to my loving family, and had a delicious meal. All amazing gifts!
Strange or maybe not so strange, I am most thankful today for a moment of grace I experienced this morning as I offered prayers and lit some incense in our family altar. At that moment, I felt God in a multiplicity of his/her forms, always present, always loving, oftentimes showing up in the most unexpected of ways and places--One. That small moment, I feel, made possible the rest of the day.
