Nature

Surrounded by grand books, I feel as though I am in the company of giants; for it was through their works that I create my existence and propogate their knowledge. We all walk atop the shoulders of giants, even those whose works remain with us today were influenced wholly by nature (and others whom they too considered giants). And nature, whose sweet lips embrace us all, teaches us everything we know and understand. Everything we love and feel.

Be humble and walk with grace.

For if we forget our Birthmother, we shall soon lose ourselves.

[Reflections: as I look over my bookshelf and remark upon the stark realization that everything I have ever read has influenced my character and decisions. Knowledge is power. I am reminded of this truth daily].
