A couple of days ago, while reading Solomon's Song of Songs, one of the verses grabbed me, wafting out pictures of itself in my mind. Today I put the impression on paper, doing my first watercolor completely out of my own head.  After finishing it, I realized I could use it to make cards for two of my ex-students who are being ordained on Nov. 23.  The picture illustrates S. of S. 4:16:  "Awake, O north wind, / And come, O south wind! / Blow upon my garden, / Let its fragrance be wafted abroad."

The Spirit blows where She will, and I am happy Her breath exhaled my way this week.
