November Gratitude Challenge 2013

Odd feeling today as it is Veteran's Day and I am a pacifist. I wish for an end to violence and a return of love and loved to homes. It's a strange kind of holiday and a strange mix of feelings as my heart reaches out to those in violent conflicts, some in the name of our country's desires. I wish for swords be turned to plowshares and money for war be used for schools, and welfare, and food for the hungry... I am grateful that I am not alone in these sentiments...
