Flip Flops and Work

I don't teach on Fridays.  It's usually a day I get to spend with Maribel; today and this weekend I have to finish a proposal for a study abroad course in Nicaragua for this summer.  After a long week of teaching, I was feeling worn out just thinking of the prospect of having to continue working.

 It's the end of the day and I was able to complete my goal for the day.  I also have to say I'm most thankful today for having been able to work from home instead of having to go into the office.  I did so in flip flops in my terrace next to my cousin +Fidel Rodríguez González.  I'm also thankful for the opportunity to put the proposal together.  I don't know if it will be approved, but the opportunity to work on this is the fulfillment of four years of hard work, perseverance, and lots of love.

  1. It will go...
    I feel it so...
    It was in the wind
    that through the palms blow.
    I heard the loud whisper...
    let it go...
    it will flow.
